I love iron maiden for their music and their art work. the band created Eddie a terrifying zombie type monster as a kind of mascot in the 70's. Eddie first appeared on the Running Free single pictured here although he had no name yet. the bands next album Killers featured another picture of Eddie. I really like this painting because of the depth of field, there is a scary hand coming out of the foreground and Eddie coming out of the back ground and some Innocent heavy metal kid stuck in the middle. the artist is Derek Riggs. Riggs although best known for his work with maiden also worked with The Iron Maidens a female tribute band and Gammaray
